We are looking for a graduate engineer to join our busy team. The successful applicant will have a minimum 2:1 degree in Civil Engineering, and have studied on a course recognised by the IStructE or ICE. Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit will be a benefit, as will construction knowledge from experience on site. A driving license and own transport are essential.
You will be expected to assist our engineering team in producing calculations, drawings and details for projects ranging from small domestic alterations to multi million pound new builds, eventually taking responsibility for your own projects from start to finish. We use the latest drawing and analysis software to produce high quality design packages, and offer the chance to attend training seminars and regular CPD events.
A competitive salary will be offered, depending on experience, and you will have the chance of working on a wide range of exciting projects. We offer a flexible and friendly working environment, with a good holiday package and up to 12 additional Fridays off per year (in addition to normal holiday and bank holidays).
We have a fantastic opportunity, ideally suited for a school leaver, to join our structures team as a trainee technician.
The role will be varied and interesting, including completing drawings in AutoCAD and Revit 3D modelling software, the chance to visit site and complete surveys, and generally assisting our team. The ideal candidate will have a good base standard of Maths and English, and a good attitude with willingness to learn. Any experience in the construction industry will be an advantage.
Full on the job training will be provided, as well as the possibility of sponsorship for a HNC and Degree at Plymouth University.
The salary level will be based on previous experience, with the chance to progress your career with the support of our experienced team.
